Los Angeles has been represented as a city of hope and dreams in the opening scene of La La Land. Many scenes and lines from the song add to this representation in different ways. The scene when the girl is getting out of the car and starts to dance and sing while other join her shows the hope and dreams of LA. Someone may feel like they are one of the only people who feels like they have a huge dream and that they stand out from the crowd but that is not true. We see many people come out of their vehicles to join her which shows that everyone have their own hopes and dreams ever if it doesn’t seem like it.
